CROSS Training

For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.                                                      1 Corinthians 1:18

The message we have to bring to the world hasn’t changed in the last 2000 years.  But the world into which we bring that message is ever-changing. This presents churches with opportunities and challenges.

Through Cross Training, individuals and congregations  have access to a wide variety of courses and seminars  that will prepare you to effectively meet these challenges and opportunities.

This online, real-time education provides easy access to a wide range of expertise and wisdom that will nourish your own faith and assist you in the work of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with those you meet.

How it Works:

Using video-conferencing technology, Cross Training brings scholars and practitioners with a wide range of expertise right to your home or congregation.  Individuals or congregations can register for any of the current course offerings or courses in the Cross Training archive.  Students and instructors have real-time, face-to-face interaction, allowing for questions and conversation.

All you need is a computer with high speed Internet access (dial-up, satellite, or wi-fi present some technical issues), a webcam and headset. To offer courses in a small group setting, a projector is useful. Our tech support team is able to assist you with any issues that arise.
